Shirt
Washed linen shirt
A mid-weight shirt, stone-washed so it arrives already belonging to the wearer. Open collar, a slightly longer back, meant to crease.
Trouser
Easy unlined trouser
An unlined flax trouser with a soft pleat and a deep hem. Cut to sit, walk, and last — not to hold a crease through dinner.
Layer
Overshirt
A heavier overshirt, more jacket than shirt. Patch pockets, a horn button, cloth that takes a shoulder.
At home
Robe
The Atelier robe, cut for the hour after a bath and the morning at a table. Shawl collar, self-tie, wide sleeve.
