Our story
Linaein is founded around a belief that the finest things in a home need not be loud.
We value natural materials, skilled craftsmanship, considered design and pieces that become more beautiful through use and time. The house is new; the ideas it draws on are not.
Our world is inspired by heritage — the quiet elegance of old homes, traditional making, natural fibres, and objects finished with patience. Linaein brings these ideas into contemporary living through linen, cotton and other natural materials.
There is a subtle connection to Kashmir in our regard for textile culture: an appreciation of craft, texture, and understated beauty. It is an influence, not a costume, and not the whole story.

Material is central to Linaein. We begin with the cloth — its texture, weight, weave, character, and how it changes with washing and wear. Linen for breath and a living crease. Cotton for softness in the daily round. Other natural fibres where the hand asks for them.
